(701) | The Advanced Railway Research Centre (ARRC) was set up as a joint venture between the British Railways Board and the University of Sheffield to deliver university research information and training to assist the rail industry in the complex technical, managerial and regulatory challenges of the future. The core expertise of ARRC is based on two main research priorities. At present these are: Freight. Rail Vehicle Materials, design and production. The ARRC team is working at both a national and international level.
